Golcom d.o.o. successfully applied for the Public tender for the establishment or upgrade of electronic commerce in SMEs in the period 2019-2022 “E-COMMERCE 2019-2022”
Description of the operation
As part of the operation, co-financed by an EU grant, the following measures were taken to improve the company’s competitiveness in foreign markets:
- Electronic exchange between partners,
- Digitization of appearances at fairs,
- Websites for foreign markets,
- Online stores,
- Product-sales video,
- Competence building – training.
Purpose and objectives of the operation
The purpose of the tender is to support SMEs by co-financing the eligible costs of setting up or upgrading e-commerce, which can easily enter global value chains and new markets, increase the international competitiveness of their business, improve and accelerate interaction with business partners abroad. they send and collect information more efficiently and improve relationships throughout the chain.
The purpose of the operation was to improve the competitiveness and visibility of GOLCOM d.o.o. through modern electronic appearance in foreign markets and providing electronic support to partners in foreign markets.
The aim of the operation was to improve the company’s digital presence through a multilingual website with a uniquely designed image and showrooms, provide content for these portals – especially product-sales video, establish electronic data exchange with customers and online store, and train employees to use new approaches, understanding creating value through Industry 4.0 in doing business abroad, and marketing with the help of modern e-tools.
Financial support
The operation is partly funded by the EU from the European Regional Development Fund. The operation is implemented within the Operational Program for the Implementation of European Cohesion Policy in the period 2014-2020. The total value of the operation is EUR 51,850.00 (including VAT), and co-financing amounts to EUR 29,750.00.
Results of the operation
With the help of the operation, we have comprehensively established the e-business of Golcom d.o.o. and take a step forward in the field of e-support to our customers and subscribers. The transitional company was not present online. In the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic, this kind of support is even more important. The new website in several languages and the online store have a unique image. Digital Showrooms have been set up where our existing and potential customers can access presentations, videos and other materials.
By implementing measures within the operation, the company comprehensively supported and established business processes and IT infrastructure by introducing various information technologies (e-exchange of documentation, multilingual website, online store in foreign languages, digitalization of appearances at fairs, video presentations). digital culture and digital competences, thus maintaining a competitive advantage in the digital economy. The introduction of e-commerce will enable the company to accelerate the provision of services and sales and to connect directly with customers.
The aim of the introduction of e-commerce is primarily to strengthen cooperation with customers from abroad. Above all, we raised our competencies through complex training and trained our employees to use new tools and approaches, also from the point of view of Industry 4.0.
